In the Hot Seat at The Giles Agency | Meet Ada!

Welcome to In the Hot Seat at The Giles Agency! Over the series we aim to introduce you to the stars that make The Giles Agency the best place to work in Hong Kong and Singapore.  We hope you enjoy getting to know a bit more about us.

Introducing…Ada Fong!

What’s your role at The Giles Agency?
Office Manager

How long have you been at the agency?
This September will be 3 years

What do you like best about working at The Giles Agency?
We have a very strong and united team.

Tell us about a project you have worked on that you are proud of:
I think the work that I’ve done and am pretty proud of is office move in 2019. Moving from the traditional office to co-working space is not an easy task, you have to prepare a lot of things before moving and also need to throw away a thousand things that you might think it is still useful to keep. Also, on the moving day, you should have physical strength to go up and down to the office and check, to make sure you did not leave anyone in the office!

Describe the agency in 3 words:
Creative
Funny
Intelligent

Who is your favourite celebrity?
Mr. Leon Lai , he is one of my favourite canton pop singers in Hong Kong and he always has awesome quotes (we call him the king of golden quotes) to make his fans like me laugh. Here are some examples:

–  The chances of dating someone is like seeing a ghost
–  Don’t eat breakfast on an empty stomach

And finally, tell us something we might not know about you:
I’ve never cooked so much as I have done recently with being at home so much, especially cakes and bread, it is my first time ever to try to baking them. Luckily the taste wasn’t so bad and my family loved it!

And that’s it for this month, hopefully you’ve enjoyed getting to know more about Ada.  Watch out for the next in the series of In the Hot Seat!
